PLE Staff Member of the Year

Mrs. Sharon Odom is the Poplarville Lower Elementary staff member of the year.  She has been a dedicated employee with our school for almost 25 years. Outside of her work, she loves helping with church activities, spending time with her family, fishing, and hunting.

It is vital for our parents and students to be greeted with a smiling face.  With Mrs. Odom at the front desk, she is the first smiling face and positive attitude everyone sees as they enter our school.  Mrs. Odom is a great multitasker. She answers phones, takes messages, checks student attendance, handles check-ins and outs, answers at least hundreds of questions a day, writes bus/car notes, and so many other important jobs. She goes above and beyond her job description.

Mrs. Sharon is loved by faculty, parents, but most importantly students.  Poplarville Lower Elementary and the Poplarville School District are blessed to have her as a part of our family.
