Poplarville Upper Elementary
A Note from Our Principal
Dear PUE Students and Families,
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Poplarville Upper Elementary, we welcome you! We are thrilled to have you here and have high expectations for the education each child receives here. PUE provides educational and social opportunities for our children to learn and develop lifelong skills. We invite you to play an active role in your child’s education by utilizing Active Parent to keep up with your student’s grades and attendance.
The Poplarville School District Student Handbook contains a great deal of important information regarding policies and procedures in our district. Please take time to read and discuss this information with your student. The relationship between home and school helps to promote the well-being of our children and their learning process.
We strive to keep the lines of communication open between our teachers, students, and school. We utilize the district website, School Status, and Google Classroom to get information out; however, if you have any issues of any kind, please request for the teacher to call you or for an in-person meeting to be scheduled. Someone should always return your call within twenty-four hours.
All of us are on the same team and have the same goal, which is to act in the best interest of your child. Please remember that our door is always open for questions, comments, or concerns.
We look forward to working with you!
