Student Handbook Update – 1-to-1 Technology and AUP Updates

At the most recent school board meeting, there was an update to the 1-to-1 Technology Policy and AUP Update in the Student Handbook.

The updates to policy are highlighted in the documents below and the student handbook linked on the school website has been updated to reflect these changes.

Handbook AUP Update

Pg. 27 – The words “and Poplarville School District Board Policy.” were added for clarification.

Pg. 29 – The words Internet Mail was changed to “Personal Email.” so that access to distance learning email accounts was permissible for our dual enrollment students enrolled in college courses.

Handbook – 1-to-1 policy update

Pg 31- verbiage was added to clarify that Technology Fees are non-refundable.

Pg 34 – Word “charger” was added to give an example of a computer accessory.
