On September 10, 2024, a special election will be held for Poplarville School District residents to vote on a $17.7 Million bond referendum for the Poplarville School District which includes renovation and expansion projects for:
- Poplarville High School:
- 24 Classroom High School Building (28,904 SF)
- Courtyard & Canopy Walkway System (13,730 SF)
- 773 Seat Auditorium (18,040 SF)
- Renovate the Gym Entrance, Restrooms, Concession Area (2,100 SF)
- Poplarville Lower Elementary
- Front Covered Drop-Off Entrance
- 2 Classroom Addition to the 1st Grade Wing
Total Probable Cost=$19,993,025.80
