First Semester CDC Attendance Award Winner

Thanks to a grant from Walmart Corporation, written by Leigh Lenoir, Student Service Coordinator, the Career Development Center is able to offer student incentives for perfect attendance in their CTE classes. All CTE students with perfect attendance for the week are entered in a drawing for CDC bucks. These prizes are awarded to one lucky student from each of the classes at the CDC. For example, one student from the three Culinary Arts classes combined will win a prize as well as one student from the three Digital Media classes.  There are six drawings weekly (Digital Media, Culinary Arts, STEM, Health Science, AEST, and Marketing). In addition, one student from those that drive to school is selected to occupy the special parking space at the CDC for a week.

At the end of each semester, all CDC students with perfect attendance are entered in a drawing for an Android Tablet. This semester’s lucky winner is Marissa Jade Yates from our Health Science program. Congratulations, Jade.
