John Allred named MSP Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Mr. John Allred for being selected by his peers to represent MSP as Teacher of the Year. Mr. Allred is an alumnus of the University of Southern Mississippi where he graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. He always had a love for English and decided to give teaching middle school a try. Here at the middle school, he found exactly where he belongs: 7th Grade ELA! Mr. Allred leads two after-school activities including the Strategy Club, which meets to play strategic board games, and the Yearbook Club, which aids him in creating MSP’s yearbook. In addition to all of this, Mr. Allred has only been teaching for three years! That means that he has a long and exciting career ahead of him here at the Poplarville School District!
