They then tied against Hattiesburg last Thursday night at Hattiesburg High School. This score was 3-3, resulting in a tie game. Following that, the team went out to Purvis and returned home victorious after a score of 5-0. This brings the Lady Hornets soccer team to 4 wins this season. Their next match is an away game against Greene County on December 6 at 5:30 PM.

The Hornets varsity soccer team had one of their best games against Picayune. Poplarville was doing well in the first half with a score of 2 to 0 while Picayune had not yet made a score. In the end of the last half of the game Poplarville, scored one more time to bring us to victory. Our varsity boys soccer team had a tough game against Hattiesburg. Poplarville scored two points the first half of the game, but sadly Hattiesburg came back in the end and tied the game up 2-2. Our team then had a hard-fought loss when they went up against Southaven. At first Poplarville had scored 3 points the first half while Southaven scored 1, but Southaven stormed back in the end and scored 5 points for a total of 6 while we managed 1. The final score was 6-4 after a great effort by our boys. Their next match is an away game against Greene County on December 6 at 7:00 PM.
