Congratulations Hornets Football, Love Hornet Nation

Congratulations to the Poplarville Hornet Football Team!  The Hornets Played for the 4A State Championship December 1st for the 2nd time in 3 years.  Poplarville lost to Louisville 25-20 but fought to the end showing the toughness that makes them a 4A power.  A special congratulations to the Senior Class. The Class of 2019 finished with an overall record of 38-5, 2 South State Championships, and 3 straight Region 7 Championships.  

Thank you to Hornet Nation and the community of Poplarville for the support shown for the Hornets this season. The State Championship Game at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg was an amazing experience and a true testament to what Poplarville and PHS is all about.  

The Hornets finished 2018 with a 13-2 record, a Region 7 Championship, and a 4A South State Championship. Thank you Hornets for the 2018 ride! Can’t wait for 2019!
