Sixth Grade Science Projects

Ms. Liska's 6th grade science class spent two weeks learning about land biomes and animal adaptations.

They demonstrated how much they learned with the unit project. Students made dioramas of a specific land biome and a "newly discovered" animal. The students wrote an explanatory paragraph describing 3 adaptations and how each adaptation was necessary for the animal to survive in the biome.

The projects were judged by MSP staff. Torri P. was selected for the Most Scientifically Correct, Maddus F. was selected for Most Creative and Houston H. was selected for Best Overall.
