2016-2017 Freshmen Tour PHS

Poplarville 8th grade students toured PHS and the CDC on Friday, April 1st. Students got to meet with teachers, coaches, administration, older students and choose their classes for next year. Two of the favorite stops included discussing pep rally traditions with Coach Ray and Coach Beech and seeing students put together robots in Mrs. Merritt's STEM class. When I asked a group of students something they learned about the high school, one student said, "We learned that high school is going to be hard, but it's going to be a lot of fun also!" We are excited to welcome the Class of 2020 to Poplarville High School!
