Julie Owens-PLE Staff of the Year

Julie Owens

The Poplarville Lower Elementary is proud to recognize Julie Owens as our Staff Member of the Year!  Before joining PLE, Julie devoted six years to serving individuals with developmental disabilities, making a lasting impact through her compassionate work. Earlier in her career, she earned a cosmetology license from Pearl River Community College. Julie’s passion for working with people of all ages and backgrounds is evident in her commitment to fostering growth and development in the young students she serves each day.

Julie and her husband, Garrett, are the proud parents of two wonderful children and have been proud members of the Poplarville community since 2015.  In her free time, Julie enjoys camping and cherishes moments spent with her family amidst their busy schedules. She is also an avid fan of sports and music and treasures the time she spends with friends while enjoying these activities. Julie’s dedication and enthusiasm are truly appreciated, and we are grateful to have her as part of the PLE family.
