Christmas Around the World
First graders in Mrs. Howard’s and Ms. Kathleen’s class researched information about how people around the world celebrate Christmas and learned some interesting facts. For instance, some countries have a Christmas witch, and others insist on eating from KFC! The students then presented to their classes what they had learned and taught everyone how to say “Merry Christmas” and “Santa Claus” in several different languages. They did a fantastic job!
