Athletic Update: 2/7-12/22
Basketball

Girls:

The Lady Hornet basketball team had games on Feb 1, 2022, and on Feb 4, 2022. On February 1, 2022, they played Columbia at the Nest, and on Feb 4, 2022, against Forrest County at FCAHS. The ending score against FCAHS was 38-26. Their next game will be February 8, 2022, in Purvis as they will be competing in the basketball regions 7 Tournament. Girls are set to starts at 4:00 pm. 

Boys:

The Hornet basketball team had games on Feb 1, 2022, and on Feb 4, 2022. On February 1, 2022, they played Columbia at the Nest, and on Feb 4, 2022, against Forrest County at FCAHS. They beat the Columbia Wildcats with a score of 49-42 the ending score against FCAHS was 62-51. Their next game will be February 8, 2022, in Purvis as they compete in the regions 7 tournament. Boys are set to start at 8:30 pm. 

Softball: 

The Lady Hornet Softball team will kick off their season next week. The game on Feb 12, 2022, will be against Harrison Harrison starting at 2:40/4:50 pm. On Feb 15, 2022, will be against Bay High at the Nest at 6:30 pm. On Feb 17, 2022, against Perry Central, at the nest, starting at 6:30 pm. Also on Feb 19, 2022 there will be a Gulfport classic, starts at 3:40 pm. 

Baseball:

The Hornet baseball team will start their season on Feb 15, 2022, and on February 17, 2022. They will be playing Richland at the Nest on Feb 15, 2022, starting at 5:00 pm, and on Feb 17, 2022, they will be at Green County for the Green County Tournament, starting at 7:00 pm. On Feb 17, 2022, against Perry Central, at the nest, starting at 6:30 pm. There may be a game on Feb 19, 2022, as it is to be determined.
