Athletic Update Sep. 27-Nov. 1, 2021

Football

The Hornets traveled to Pass Christian, on Friday, September 24th to take the Pirates to their Homecoming. The Pirates didn’t enjoy the experience, as Poplarville showed out with a 28-6 win against Pass Christian! Go Poplarville! October 1st will be the next home game, and there will be a Homecoming court event at 6:30 before the game starts. Tickets will be sold for $7.00 at the gate. Game time is 7:00 PM.

Hornet Volleyball

The Lady Hornet volleyball team was victorious on Thursday, September 23rd, as they played against Moss Point Lady Tigers. The first set was 25-14, second set was 25-12, and the last set was 25-7. On Tuesday, September 28th the Lady Hornets will compete against the Stone County Tomcats at home. Game time starts at 5:30 for junior varsity and 6:30 for varsity. Please come and support your Lady Hornets!
