Athletic Update Feb. 22-28

Basketball

Congratulations and good luck to our PHS Boys Basketball team as they travel to Raymond to compete in the first round of playoffs Monday, February 22!

Archery 

This week our Hornets Archery Team will be competing twice, on Tuesday and Friday. Their first game of the week will be on Tuesday at home against Picayune, at 5pm. Their second game will be another home game on Friday, against Union Baptist at 4pm. We encourage you all to come support your PHS Archery Team this week!

Softball 

 Last week our PHS girls softball team took home a loss against Gulfport Admirals, with ending scores of Poplarville- 0 and Gulfport- 13. Our varsity team is expected to play again this Friday against Petal Panthers at 6:30 pm at Petal High. Good Luck to all of our varsity softball players!

Baseball

In the previous week, the Poplarville High School baseball team played their best against Lamar Christian on the 18th of February. As A result of their hard work they scored themselves a 10-0. They played an away game against Bay St. Louis on February 19th and brought home another victory of 17-7. This week, the baseball team will play a home game against Laurel on the 25th. The game will start at 5:00-7:00.
