Athletic Update Dec. 7-12
Football
Congratulations to our PHS football team for once again playing an outstanding season! Our boys made it all the way to state this year and although they did not take home the title, they are still champions here at PHS. This is also the third time in a row our boys have achieved the title of South State Champions! Thank you boys for playing your hearts out this season as well as those who supported our Hornets!
Basketball
The Poplarville varsity basketball team has an away conference game at Sumrall on Tuesday, December 8 at 7:30pm.
Soccer:
Last week our Varsity girl’s soccer team played against Sumrall on December 3rd, but came up one point short, the ending score was 2-1. Our Varsity boys and girls soccer teams will play an away game at Stone on December 8th. Games start at 5:30/7. Good Luck to both teams!!
