Athletic Update Sept. 28- Oct. 3

Volleyball

The previous week, the PHS volleyball team played two games. On September 21st, PHS had a winning score of 3-0 against Forrest County. On the 22nd, PHS fought with Stone which resulted in a win for Poplarville with a score of 3-1. This week, Poplarville will clash heads with Forrest County again this time at an away game. The Hornet Volleyball Team plays at FCAHS Tuesday night.  The JV plays at 5 p.m. and the varsity plays at 6 p.m.  Tickets will be sold at the gate. Masks are required at all MHSAA athletic events.

Football 

Last Friday, September 25th Poplarville High school football team dominated Saint Stanislaus 27-7.  The JV team will play at home versus PRC Monday night at 6 p.m. The varsity football team will play FCAHS this Friday night for Homecoming. Homecoming festivities will begin at 6:25 p.m.  Each participant will be allowed to purchase 2 tickets Monday and Tuesday during break or lunch.   Tickets will be available to the general public from 11am-1pm, Wednesday and Thursday. Tickets are 6 dollars each. Masks are required at all MHSAA athletic events.
