Volleyball: The PHS volleyball team played two games in the previous week. On Sept. 1st, they played against North Forrest with a win of 3-0. On September 3rd,  Poplarville held a close game to Bay High, but unfortunately lost at a score of 2-3. This week, PHS varsity volleyball  will go head-to-head at Picayune on the 8th. Varsity will also go against Greene County at a home game on the 10th. Both games start at 5:00 p.m.  Buy tickets at the gate. Please remember to wear a mask and adhere to the social distancing guidelines.

Football: Last week, on the 4th of September, the Poplarville Hornets played against Jefferson Davis at PRCC and gave it their all but ultimately came up short with a score of 6-13. This week, on Tuesday, September 8th, junior varsity will play at home against Stone County at 6:00pm. Varsity players will compete at home against D’Iberville on Friday, September 11th at 7:00pm. Come out and support our Hornets! Please remember to wear a mask and adhere to the social distancing guidelines.

September 11th Varsity Game vs D’Iberville: Pre-sale tickets for the football team, cheerleaders, band, and dance will be available Tuesday and Wednesday.  Tickets for the general public will be sold from 11-1pm, Wednesday and Thursday.  Tickets will be 6.00 each.  Any remaining tickets will be sold at the gate.  Please remember to wear a mask and adhere to the social distancing guidelines.
