Week 5 Update

Week 5 Update

We hope everyone is enjoying Spring Break.  We have a few quick reminders for this week.

● Grab and Go Meal pick-up will resume the week of April 13th.  In order to help families reduce the number of trips to the school, we will be providing meals on Monday,  Wednesday, and Friday.  At pick up on Monday and Wednesday, children 18 and under will receive enough food to cover breakfast and lunch for two days. On Friday, they will receive one breakfast and one lunch. Meals will be served from 11 am to 1 pm at MSP.

●  Backpack Buddies’ distribution has been moved to Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm.

●  Poplarville School District teachers will continue with student support beginning on Monday, April 13, 2020.

●  Governor Tate Reeves is expected to announce his decision regarding any additional school closures on Tuesday, April 14th.  Following his announcement and based on his determination, our district leadership team will begin to make final decisions on activities, events, and academics.   Please check the district’s website for weekly updates.

●  Go to www.poplarvilleschools.org for more information regarding kindergarten registration. There is a link that will allow you to add your child to the list of eligible upcoming kindergarteners.  Please share this information with families of kindergarten-aged students so that they may sign up.
