PHS Band Competes in State Championship

On October 27, 2018, the Poplarville High School Green Machine Marching Band competed in the State Championship in Jackson, Mississippi after qualifying with high marks at regionals in Gulfport. The Green Machine Marching Band was an immense success and performed incredibly well in their halftime show. They placed 12th out of 15 bands competing at state championships. We are extremely happy for the Green Machine Marching Band for all the hard work they have put into this season, and we want to thank Band Director Joshua Tidwell and Assistant Band Director Daniel Broadus for all their hard work and the wonderful jobs they have done teaching these students.
