Mississippi First Lady Reads to PUE Students

PUE had a special visit from Mississippi’s First Lady Deborah Bryant on Friday, March 16th. She read to a group of third grade students in the library as part of the “Read Across Mississippi” initiative. Through this initiative, the first lady plans to travel the entire state to read to students from all 82 counties, promote literacy, and raise awareness about reading disabilities.
