Being Your Best Self

Poplarville Upper Elementary held its annual parent night on September 21, 2017.  In addition to meeting with teachers and administrators, parents were provided free resources by the school nurse.  Each year the school health council focuses on ways to promote health and wellness throughout the school community.  The school community is defined as not only students, but parents and family members as well as school staff.  Resources on various topics were provided during the parent night.  Some of these topics included smoking cessation, healthy nutrition, dental care, cough etiquette, and the importance of increased physical activity.
