Writing Club Junior Wins Honor at Ole Miss

On April 20, 2017, PHS junior Zachary Couvillion attended an invitation-only reception at the University of Mississippi to receive recognition for his placement in the Ole Miss 2017 Writing Competition: Celebration of Imagination.  From more than five-hundred entries throughout the state, Zachary placed second in the contemporary poetry category with his free verse poem "Imagination." In addition to the second place award, Zachary was also honored with a fellowship for his choice of writing camps offered during the summer at Ole Miss.  Congratulations, Zachary!
