The PHS Lady Hornets are 4-0

The Poplarville High School Lady Hornets are on a four game winning streak this season after defeating Vancleave, East Marion, North Forrest and Pearl River Central.

The Hornets defeated PRC at home on Tuesday, November 15th with a close score of 43-37.  The Lady Hornets are led by five seniors this year:  Mallory Smith, Zanaisha Turner, Kenya Tillman, Lizzie Hughes and Ellen Herrington.  Head Coach: Deatra Robinson-Cable, Assistant Coach: Kim Moore

Girls and Boys basketball will play Monday, November 21st at Stone County.  JV Girls- 5 p.m.  Varsity Girls- 6 p.m. Varsity Boys- 7 p.m.

PRCC Thanksgiving Tournament will be Next Friday and Saturday at the Pearl River Community College Gym.  The boys will play Friday, November 25th.  Girls will play Saturday, November 26th.  Times have not been set.
