“Show Me Nutrition” with MS Extension Office

Learning about healthy eating is essential for maintaining a healthy life!

In Mrs. Nikki's health class, students have been involved in a 7 day lesson where they have learned about the importance of nutrition and eating healthy.

Ms. Pat Jones, who works at the Mississippi State Ext. Service, has provided her time to teach the students.  The students were engaged in learning about the essential nutrients our body needs, how to prepare food, food safety, and fighting world hunger.

At the end of the lesson, students were awarded a certificate for successfully completing the "Show Me Nutrition" program.  We appreciate Ms. Pat and thank her for all the information she shared!
