PUE Quest Archeologist

Third grade Quest students in Mrs. Tammie Payne’s classes were divided into teams and participated in activities that simulated the work of archeologist and paleontologist.  This unit was designed to increase the students’ knowledge of the work of scientists and of the dinosaurs they study.  The students completed several activities and had a lot of fun while learning about the dinosaurs and how the scientist searched for, dug and studied fossils.  Throughout this unit, the students also learned about the importance of following directions and telling time.
