FFA Competitions

Poplarville FFA competed at the George County Vo-Tech today. Rachel Harris placed 1st in Extemporaneous Speaking; Skylar Baldwin was 1st in Prepared Public Speaking; Caitlin Humrighausen was 1st in 9th grade FFA Creed Speaking; Josh Spiers – 2nd in 10th grade FFA Creed Speaking. The Tool ID team, Sara Ladner, Noah Grey, Wyatt Duncan and Gabe Entrekin placed 2nd. The Welding team, Anthony Barnes, Calvin Barnes, Cameron Clark and Dylan Duncan, placed 4th. The FFA Advisor is Mr. Keith Broom. The top 2 in each event advances to district. Also pictured is Rachel Harris and her accomplishments at Dixie Nationals.She won 1st in the Senior showmanship class and 2nd in the FFA Dairy Handler Class!  Great job!!!!
