MSP Science Sleuths

8th Grade students at the Middle School of Poplarville have been studying the Scientific Method through forensic investigations. Each class meeting students are presented with a Mock Crime Scene in which they must take notes and investigate.  

This week students used microscopes to help them in collecting their facts and identifying their criminal, based on evidence collected.  Fabric samples were used and matched to the crime scene.  

Next week students will being identifying their criminal based on fingerprint analysis.
