PUE Blood Drive “Be a Hero”

Poplarville Upper Elementary hosted its annual “Be a Hero” blood drive on Thursday, January 15, 2015.  The “Be a Hero” drive gives students the opportunity to learn about blood donations and who they help and then asks them to recruit “heroes” to come out to the drive and donate blood.  During the drive, 68 units of blood/blood products were collected.  The students that recruited two or more donors will be rewarded with an ice cream party provided by the United Blood Services!   Thank you to everyone who helped make this blood drive a success!
