Poplarville Upper Elementary Students “CAN” be drug free!

Pictured along with his class is Mr. Dylon Burge, P.U.E 4th grade teacher, as well as Mr. Terry Young with Brother's Keeper Ministries.  As part of the 2014 Red Ribbon Week festivities, Poplarville Upper Elementary students conducted a canned food drive to assist the local ministry with the needs of the upcoming holiday season.  The students participated in a friendly, classroom competition to see which class could bring in the most items.  Mr. Burge's class won the competition by bringing in over 127 items.  The school total was approximately 970!
