Shades of Gold will begin their competition season on Saturday, February 3, at the Mississippi ShowChoir Contest at PRCC. The a cappella portion of the competition consists of a set of three songs. The set must be choreographed, each song sung must be a cappella (with no accompaniment), and it must be completely independent (no director). The group will also compete in the Magnolia Invitational in Oak Grove on Saturday, March 2nd, and end the season with the Biloxi/Gulf Coast Classic on Saturday, March 9th. Last year, Shades of Gold took home 2nd place in the Magnolia Invitational. They are excited about the upcoming season and would love to see you there to cheer them on at PRCC. Armbands are $15 and last for the entirety of the competition. Performance time on Saturday, February 3rd, is at 3:00 p.m. in the Brownstone Center. Stop by for an amazing performance!
