The Poplarville High School Cheerleaders attended NCA Performance Camp at the University of Southern Mississippi June 14-17, 2017. The squad learned many skills and cheers that they will use throughout the year! Four PHS cheerleaders were named All-American Cheerleaders- Landry B., Gabrielle B., Ashanti B., and Mackenzie O. Holli A. was awarded the Pin-it Forward Sportsmanship Award. The squad was also awarded the Dance Technique Award and several Spirit Sticks during NCA Camp. The PHS cheerleaders will cheer on the Hornets as they play the Picayune Maroon Tide at the season opener August 18th at 7 pm at PHS Hornet Stadium.
