Mrs. Jenn Tynes's 8th grade U.S. History students participated in the Law Day Art Contest held by the Mississippi Bar Association. The theme of the contest was American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Why Every Vote Matters. The winning students are pictured left to right: Ryan Schubert won first place, and Tatum Davis won second place. Ryan's first place poster was sent to Jackson to compete at the state level. The winning poster overall at the state competition will be included in Mississippi Lawyer Magazine and will also be displayed at the state capital.
