Pearl River Community College recently hosted a contest where local students were asked to design a t-shirt that related to the Career and Technical Education day hosted by PRCC on Friday, March 24th. Thirteen schools participated in CTE day and over thirty designs were submitted. We are proud to announce that our student Eadie Keenan won the competition. Eadie is a second year student in Mrs. Donna Baxter’s Digital Media Technology program, and she is also a senior at Poplarville high school. Mrs. Delana Harris, director of recruitment, at PRCC said, “that the design was used as inspiration by PRCC to come up with the theme, “Gear up for CTE” used on CTE Day.” Eadie’s design was used on the promotional t-shirts that were handed out to everybody involved with CTE day at PRCC. Eadie received a satchel, jacket, and beach towel from PRCC as a reward for winning the contest. Once again, we want to say congratulations to Eadie and thank you to PRCC.
