Exciting Senior Night for the Lady Hornets

On Thursday, September 29th the Lady Hornets battled Perry Central, one of the best teams in South Mississippi.  Both teams fought hard throughout the game, which was also Senior Night for the Lady Hornets.  

The Hornets were down 6-3, when Sophomore RaKeya Travis hit a Grand Slam putting the Hornets in the lead with a score of 7-6.  The Lady Hornets continued to progress with a final score of 13-9.  The whole team came together with a series of hits.  Coach Jackson stated, “That was the best game I have seen while coaching at PHS.  I am extremely proud of this team.”

The Lady Hornets, who are also District Champions, will travel to Hattiesburg on Tuesday, October 4th.
