Scotty Dearman-Bus Driver Of The Year

The Poplarville School District is proud to honor Mr. Scotty Dearman as our Staff Member of the Year. Scotty serves our district in dual roles as a Bus Driver in the Transportation Department and a Building and Grounds Worker in the Field Operations Department. For the past 27 years, he has exemplified dedication and a genuine care for our students and staff both on and off the bus.

Mr. Dearman’s unwavering commitment and positive attitude contribute significantly to overcoming the daily challenges faced by our district. His willingness to lend a hand wherever needed reflects the spirit of teamwork and service we value deeply.

Beyond his professional contributions, Mr. Dearman is also an active member of Faith Memorial Church, where he drives the church bus, ensuring transportation is never a barrier to attending services. A proud supporter of our Hornet athletics, he is a volunteer on Friday nights as part of the football chain crew, keeping our community updated on the games.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Dearman for his extraordinary service and steadfast dedication to the Poplarville School District and our community. He is a valued member of our team, and his impact is truly appreciated. Thank you, Mr. Dearman, for all that you do!
