Welcome back, Mr. Rossie!

Rossie Creel returns to the district as career coach.

by Pennelope Keenan

You may remember him as former mayor of Poplarville, police officer, soldier, or even the transportation director for the Poplarville School District. These jobs have made Mr. Rossie very well known around the city of Poplarville, and he has now taken up the position of high school career coach. This title means that he will be here to put students on the path to choosing a career. Most high school students are unsure of their futures following high school with some not knowing if they want to go to college or if they want to go straight into the workforce. Mr. Rossie works with those students in figuring out exactly what the right paths are for them.

When Mr. Rossie was offered the position here, he didn’t hesitate. He said that when he wasn’t working for the district, he felt that something was missing, and he’s very happy to work with the students again. If you see Mr. Rossie on campus, be sure to say hello!
