Athletic Update 4/24-28/23

Baseball: 

On April 18th, the Hornets played against the Lawrence County Cougars and the game set them up for today’s game. This week Monday, April 24, 2023, the Hornets will travel to Newton County starting at 6:00 pm. Friday, April 28, 2023, the boys will play against Newton County at the Hive starting at 7:00 pm. Saturday, April 29, 2023, the Hornets will return to Newton County starting at 6:00 pm. 

Softball:

On Tuesday, April 18th, the Lady Hornets played Picayune and ended with a score of 5-8. The Lady Hornets made it to the playoffs and destroyed Raymond back to back on Thursday, April 20th. In the first game we ended with a final score of 17-0, in the second we ended 22-0. Great job girls! For the second round of playoffs, we will travel over to Greene County on Friday, April 28th, to face them at 6:00 PM. Then, on Saturday, April 29th, we will go against Greene County again at home at 5:00 PM. Come out and support your Lady Hornets!
