Athletic Update 10/3-7/22
FOOTBALL
In last week’s victory, our Poplarville Hornet Football Team brought home a phenomenal win against the Purvis Tornadoes Friday, 7th, 2022 with an overall score of 42-0. This week, the boys play a home football game against Lawrence County at the Nest with kickoff at 7:00.
VOLLEYBALL
Last week, September 26th, 2022 our Hornet Volleyball Team played played FCAHS with a winning score of 3-0. Our girls also played an away game against Stone, on September 27th, 2022 with an ending score of 3-1. This week, our girls play three games back to back, with Monday, October 3rd, 2022 our girls playing an away game against Picayune with a start time at 6:30. Tuesday, October 4th, 2022 our Lady Hornets will play a home game at 6:30, which also consists of Senior Night, against the PRC Blue Devils. With the final game of the season, our Lady Hornets will play a home game against Purvis Thursday, October 6th, 2022.
