Athletic Update 2/21-25/22

Baseball: 

The Hornet Baseball team play on Feb 15, 2022 against Richland at the nest and dominated the field with a 12-3 win. The Hornets competed in a Tournament at Green County on February 17, 2022. Then they had two away games on February 18, 2022, and on Feb 19, 2022. On Feb 18, 2022 they played against Columbia Academy, at Columbia, and defeated them 17-7. They also played against Picayune, Picayune and won with an ending score of 6-5. Their next games will be Feb 22, 2022 against Bay High at the Nest starting at 5:00 pm, on February 25, 2022, at Bay High, against Bay High starting at 5:00 pm. Also on Feb 26, 2022 against Pass Christian at the Nest starting at 12:00 pm.

Softball:

The Lady Hornets played on Feb 15, 2022 against Bay High and won 8-7. They also played Feb 17, 2022 against Perry Central, and on Feb 19, 2022 they played in the Gulfport Classic, against North Pike, ending score was 12-5. The Lady Hornets’ next games will be on Feb 21, 2022, Feb 22, 2022, and on Feb 24, 2022. On Feb 21, 2022 they will play against Diberville at the Nest at 6:30 pm, and on Feb 22, 2022 against Hancock, at Hancock starting at 6:30 pm. Lastly on Feb 24, 2022at Stone against Stone starting at 6:30 pm.

Tennis:

The Hornets tennis team play Feb 16, 2022 against Lumberton, at Lumberton. On Feb 18, 2022 against West Harrison High School, at West Harrison. Their next game will be on Feb 21, 2022against Sumrall, at Tatum Park, starting at 3:30 pm.
