Yeti Raffle to Benefit CTE Student Org Membership

Involvement in a CTE Student Organization such as DECA, HOSA, FFA, and FCCLA are an important part of programs at the Career Development Center. These organizations benefit students in many ways including: building leadership skills, providing opportunities to expand and enhance their overall educational experience, improving their social skills, gaining self-confidence, and learning how to function as a member of a group or team.

To help more students be able to join these organizations, the CDC faculty and staff held a raffle for a Yeti cooler and tumbler. The students were able to use the money they collected from the raffle toward their membership dues. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Parish Tractor for assisting with the purchase of the cooler and tumbler and all the people who purchased a ticket from one of our students.

The winner of the Yeti cooler was Bryce Graves, a current and former FFA member. The winner of the tumbler was Jennifer Seals. Congratulations to these two lucky individuals.
