Lady Hornets Prepare for Playoffs

The Lady Hornets Slow-Pitch Softball team is finishing up the regular season and beginning to prepare for the 1st round of playoffs.  The girls have two regular season games left after defeating Hattiesburg (11-4) on Tuesday, October 4th in Hattiesburg.  The first playoff game will be held Tuesday, October 11th at home against North Pike.  The Lady Hornets are so excited to have made it this far and can’t wait to see how the rest of the season will play out.  The Pete Jackson Tournament, which as previously scheduled for Saturday October 8th, has been cancelled.  There has been no mention of rescheduling the game at this time.

The Hornets will finish up the regular season tonight, October 6th at Harrison Central.  Varsity will play two games tonight, the first game begins at 5:00 p.m.
