STEM TSA (Technology Student Association) members, Roger Brown, Dominic Shubert, Zack Couvillion, Alan Holiday, and Dustin Lee, recently visited the Infinity Science Center in Pearlington, MS. The students were able to tour the science center and learn more about space exploration and robotics. NASA engineers, including Mr. John Crouch and Mr. Ray Sheehy, talked personally to the students about the history of the space program and the importance of learning math and science while in high school. Also, the engineers assisted the members with the programming of their VEX robot, which the students will take to competition next year. At the conclusion of the self-guided tour of the science center, the students were able to take a bus tour of the rocket engine testing sites.
