MSP Cheerleaders Take 1st Place

MSP Cheerleaders received 1st place at UCA’s Dixie Regional Game Day Championship on Saturday, December 7th.  UCA’s Game Day Championships were created to showcase what modern day cheerleading is all about- leading the crowd. Teams responded to game day situation audio cues as heard at football games. Teams were judged on execution, crowd effectiveness, energy and overall performance. MSP performed their fight song, a sideline chant, and a time out cheer. The score sheet complimented the team’s use of signs, megaphones and effective crowd leading material. Way to go MSP Cheer!
