Athletic Update Oct. 19-25th

Football

Last week, our PHS football team played against Purvis at home with a major win of 35-7. The varsity football team will face Greene County this week in Leakesville, MS.  With a win, the Hornets will claim the district title.  Tickets will go on sale to the general public Wednesday from 11-1 pm.  Tickets are 7 dollars.  Tickets will also be sold at the gate. Masks are required at all MHSAA athletic events.

Volleyball

Congratulations to our Poplarville High School Volleyball team on making it to the playoffs! They played their last game of the season against the Sumrall Bobcats, on Tuesday, October 13th. They tried their hardest but ultimately came up short with a final score of Hornets-0, Sumrall-3. Good Job to all the volleyball girls for playing an amazing season.
