POPLARVILLE HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS OFFICIAL NOTICE: SIDELINE MEDIA & ACCESS OVERVIEW

Effective Immediately for All Home Athletic Contests


To maintain student-athlete safety, comply with athletic association regulations, and ensure efficient sideline operations, only authorized, credentialed media and designated event staff are permitted inside the field boundary and sideline areas. General spectators, non-credentialed photographers, students, and unauthorized personnel must remain in designated grandstand viewing areas.

  • Credentials Required: All working media members (photo, video, and press) must display an official Athletic Department Field Pass visibly at all times.
  • Restricted Team Zones: Media personnel must remain outside the team box (between the 25-yard lines) and stay behind the designated restraining line at least six feet back from the sideline.
  • Zero Unauthorized Field Access: Spectators, parents, and freelance content creators without official school clearance will be directed back to the stands immediately.

  • Media outlets and freelance professionals requesting sideline credentials must contact the Athletic Department at least 48 hours prior to game day.
