Ms. Cayla and Mrs. Jessica’s Pre-K class have been raising five Painted Lady Butterflies.
The students were given the opportunity to observe the entire butterfly lifecycle from live caterpillar to releasing them as adult butterflies.
The students also received a Budding Entomologist Certificate for learning the four stages of the butterfly lifecycle (egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly), and caring for the five caterpillars who they named Orangie, Snowball, Unicorn, Flower, and Chad, as they grew into these beautiful butterflies.
