School Board Member Recognition Week

School Board Member Recognition Week in Mississippi is February 16–20, 2026. Join the Poplarville School District as we honor the dedicated men and women who serve on our local school board. This year’s theme, “Inspire Team Leadership,” highlights the collaborative efforts of board members as they work alongside district leadership to support student success.

The dedication of Poplarville School District board members to our students and community helps ensure our schools remain places where all students can discover their interests, grow academically, and prepare for their future.

School board members serve as the voice of our schools in the community and the community’s voice in our schools. Their commitment, leadership, and service play a vital role in shaping the direction of our district.

We are grateful for the time, dedication, and leadership of our Poplarville School District Board of Trustees during School Board Member Recognition Week, February 16–20, 2026.
