💫𝗠𝗦𝗣 Staff O𝗳 T𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿: 𝗠𝘀. Valarie Raine!💫

Valarie Raine, the 2025–2026 Middle School of Poplarville Staff of the Year, has been a dedicated and dependable member of the MSP family since 2004. As the school’s custodian for more than two decades, she has played an essential role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Her commitment to excellence is evident in everything she does—whether she is preparing the campus each morning, supporting school events, or lending a helping hand wherever she is needed. Her pride in her work and her unwavering dedication have made her an invaluable part of the school community for over 20 years.

A lifelong resident of Poplarville, Valarie’s roots in the community run deep. She graduated from Poplarville herself, later raising three children who also proudly walked the halls and graduated from the Poplarville School District. Today, she is the proud grandmother of two grandchildren who are continuing the family tradition as students at Poplarville Elementary School. Her strong ties to the community, her loyalty to the district, and her daily commitment to serving students and staff make her not only a cherished member of MSP but also a truly deserving recipient of the Staff of the Year honor.
