The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors

 

Students at Poplarville Lower Elementary recently participated in a schoolwide Rock, Paper, Scissors competition based on the book The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors by Drew Daywalt.  Each class had a single elimination tournament with one winner in each class who moved on to compete against the other class winners for their grade.  The final winners in each grade had a best two out of three competition held in the auditorium.  The competitors were cheered on by their entire grade until a winner was announced.  The winners for each grade are:

 

Kindergarten:  1st place:  Connor M.; 2nd place:  Jax S.

1st Grade:  1st place:  Nila J.; 2nd place:  Emma’Ree T.

2nd Grade:  1st place:  Anivia D.; 2nd place:  Brendon W.
